Cancellation Policy

At Ranthambore National Park Travel Agency, we understand that travel plans may change. Our cancellation policy aims to offer flexibility while covering essential costs incurred in processing your booking. Please review the policy below to understand the terms and conditions for cancellations and refunds.

1. Safari Booking Cancellation Policy

Monsoon Cancellation Policy: If the park closes due to rain, we will issue a 75% refund for Gypsy bookings and a 65% refund for Canter bookings.
Permit Issued: Once a safari permit has been issued, no refunds will be processed, regardless of weather or other factors.
Current/Tatkal Bookings:
If the safari booking is unconfirmed, you will receive a full refund.
For confirmed bookings, no refund is applicable.
Early Cancellations:
A 25% cancellation fee is charged for Gypsy safari cancellations.
A 35% cancellation fee applies to Canter safari cancellations.

2. Tour Package Cancellation Policy

Standard Cancellation Policy:
30 days before arrival: 20% of the total tour cost will be charged as a cancellation fee.
15-29 days before arrival: 30% cancellation fee.
7-14 days before arrival: 40% cancellation fee.
2-6 days before arrival: 50% cancellation fee.
Within 48 hours or No Show: No refund.
Peak Season and Holidays: During peak seasons like Holi, Diwali, Christmas, and New Year, a separate cancellation policy applies, which will be communicated at the time of booking.

3. Important Notes

Non-Refundable Fees: Safari fees (Gypsy or Canter) are non-refundable once booked, regardless of circumstances.
Modifications: If a Canter is replaced with a Gypsy, or vice versa, we will refund the difference in cost.
Changes in Government Fees: Any hike in permit fees, safari charges, or taxes as determined by the government after booking will be charged as an additional fee at the time of entry.
Force Majeure: We are not liable for any cancellations or modifications due to natural events, weather conditions, strikes, or unforeseen circumstances. We will, however, strive to arrange suitable alternatives.

4. Refund Process

Refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 7-10 business days, excluding non-refundable charges (such as GST and processing fees).
If a booking is canceled due to park closure or other uncontrollable factors, you will receive the refund as per the terms mentioned above.
